Terms and Conditions

These are the rules for using the Agritrend website and buying from us anywhere in the UK. We've kept them short and straightforward so you know exactly where you stand.

Last updated: 8 April 2026

1. Definitions

Here's what a few words on this page mean:

  • Agritrend, we, us or our means Agritrend, the company that runs this website.
  • Customer, you or your means the person placing an order on the website.
  • Goods means the farm machinery, equipment, parts and accessories we sell online.
  • Order means the request you send us when you ask to buy something.
  • Website means agritrend.co.uk and everything on it.
  • Working Day means Monday to Friday, not counting public holidays in England and Wales.

2. Use of Website

Using the site properly

Please use the website sensibly and within the law. Don't upload viruses, try to break in, or do anything that could stop it working for other people.

Your account

Keep your login details safe. You're responsible for anything that happens through your account, so don't share your password.

Getting things right

We do our best to make sure everything on the site is correct, but we can't promise every product description, photo or spec is spot on. If we spot a mistake, we'll put it right.

3. Orders & Acceptance

When you place an order, you're offering to buy from us. The products on our website are there for you to look at and choose from, they aren't a binding offer to sell.

A proper contract only starts once we email you an Order Confirmation saying we've accepted your order and sent it out. We can turn down an order if we need to.

4. Pricing & VAT

All our prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT at the current rate, unless we say otherwise. Any delivery charges show up at checkout before you pay.

If we ever get a price wrong, we'll let you know before sending anything out. You can then decide whether to carry on at the correct price or cancel and get a full refund.

5. Payment

We take all the main debit and credit cards, plus the other payment options you'll see at checkout. We need the full payment before we can send your order.

Finance

If finance is available, it comes from independent lenders and is subject to their own checks and terms. We just put you in touch with them; we don't lend the money ourselves.

6. Delivery

You'll find delivery times, areas and charges in our Shipping Policy. We'll do everything we can to deliver when we say we will, but we can't guarantee exact dates.

7. Title & Risk

Once your goods are delivered, looking after them is down to you. Ownership only passes to you once we've received full payment for everything you've ordered.

8. Cancellation by Customer

If you're buying as a consumer in the UK, you've got 14 days from the day your order arrives to change your mind on most items, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Just drop us a line using the contact details below. Made-to-order or bespoke items usually can't be cancelled this way.

9. Returns & Refunds

Everything you need to know about sending something back and getting your money is in our Return Policy and Refund Policy. Please have a read before you send anything back.

10. Warranties

Unless we say otherwise, everything we sell comes with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty starting from the day it's delivered. It covers faults in materials and workmanship under normal use, but not wear and tear, misuse or anything you've modified yourself. There's more info in our FAQs.

11. Limitation of Liability

Nothing on this page limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law says we can't exclude.

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 still apply, these terms don't take them away.

Beyond that, the most we'll ever be liable for on any order is what you paid for the goods themselves. We can't cover indirect losses such as lost profits, lost business or lost data.

12. Force Majeure

Sometimes things happen that are out of our hands, like extreme weather, strikes, transport problems, pandemics or a supplier letting us down. If something like that delays or stops us delivering, we won't be held responsible.

13. Intellectual Property

All the words, pictures, logos, graphics and software on the website belong to Agritrend or the people who let us use them, and they're protected by UK and international copyright and trade mark laws. Please don't copy, share or reuse anything without asking us first.

14. Data Protection

We handle your personal information in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. You can read exactly how we collect, use and look after your data in our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law

These terms, and any order you place with us, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If there's ever a dispute, it'll be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.

16. Changes to Terms

We may tweak these terms now and then. Whichever version was live when you placed your order is the one that counts for that order. It's worth popping back here from time to time to see if anything's changed.

17. Contact
